I am a Charleston County teacher and the mother of a son at St. Andrew's School of Math and Science, and I wanted to tell you what a fantastic job you have done getting the fire department involved in encouraging our kids to read. My son, Jackson, is excited about reading every night and he is enjoying the competition. As an educator we need the support of anyone and everyone and we especially need people like you who will implement innovative ideas to encourage our kids to give literacy a try and hopefully love it. Thanks again!

Thanks for organizing this event. [reading contest] My boys attend St. Andrew's Elementary and are VERY excited about this and are reading in the car to and from school...(which makes it a much quieter ride for me). We really appreciate all that you all do for the community.
